In a thoughtful monograph on Hebrews， Pierce gives readers a helpful understanding of the Trinitarian discourse in Hebrews。 Before reading this book， I always saw the purpose of Hebrews as a way to understand Jesus as the fulfillment of Israel but Pierce masterfully extrapolates a Trinitarian understanding of the author's position as the members of the Trinity have their conversation。 A wonderful read and mostly accessible to pastors。 In a thoughtful monograph on Hebrews， Pierce gives readers a helpful understanding of the Trinitarian discourse in Hebrews。 Before reading this book， I always saw the purpose of Hebrews as a way to understand Jesus as the fulfillment of Israel but Pierce masterfully extrapolates a Trinitarian understanding of the author's position as the members of the Trinity have their conversation。 A wonderful read and mostly accessible to pastors。 。。。more
